[ puppy squared time! dirty puppy - and he's more than alright with this appellation, given that puppy does get so messy a lot - is having a good time, all things considered, even with the decided lack of touching in sensitive places and kissing. especially the kissing. junk food is a poor alternative to the spit-slick taste of kissing. the movies are fun too, even though puppy catches himself wanting to switch over to porn every now and again.
oh well.
by the time ten o'clock rolls around, puppy's ready to call it a night, before remembering-- oh yeah it's his turn.
the very thought gives him renewed wakefulness, as he excitedly pats pure puppy's knees to get his attention. ]
Okay, time to play! Puppy, come on!
[ how far can puppy push this, he wonders? hm hm hm. choices. he settles on a simple game, for pure puppy's sake. ]
Rock paper scissors. Winner gets to kiss the loser wherever they want to. Are you game?
[ Junk food is an excellent alternative, and dirty Puppy should not knock chips, candy and most importantly pizza! Pure Puppy may need to learn to eat better when not under the watchful eye of his dad. He's definitely gearing up to be a different kind of dirty Puppy if he's not careful.
Also all things considered Puppy's game suggestion doesn't sound too bad. Sure, it could get bad real quick if the first thing that's suggested is tip of the dick or something, but it probably won't escalate like that, right? He can theoretically do a little on the mouth kissing, and it'll be fine.
Plus, if he wins it'll be a forehead kiss for sure. ]
[ it sounds easy because, well, puppy is easy and playing games like this takes him little effort. plus it's a fun game - either way things go, puppy gets a kiss for his trouble, and he loves getting kisses all the time.
he draws his hand at the ready and looks to puppy expectantly. ]
[ It helps that Puppy loves games, and it's pretty easy to talk him into things if you couch it this way. This is a game of chance, but there's already a slight gleam in Puppy's eyes as he tries to decide what the best guess will be. ]
[ the first go-around is in taller puppy's favor, which nets a small pout out of shorter puppy, but a game is a game and puppy likes to play fair for the most part. he holds out his hand, displaying the coin that's tails up, showing puppy that he won the first round. ]
It's tails. Your turn to kiss and flip.
[ hopefully puppy won't kiss him somewhere lame, like... fingertips. no. he's not a baby. ]
[ Yes! Both a win and safety from shorter Puppy jumping in the deep end with this game from the start. He looks pleased, and just a little bit smug as he pushes Puppy's bangs back, and without a word plants a kiss right on his forehead. There's a loud smacking sound, extra proof of the kiss, before he pulls back.
Not fingertips, but perhaps still a lame place. He still looks pleased with himself though. ]
[flipping the coin, puppy waits to catch it with wide eyes. he's hoping he's called it right this time, because a forehead kiss is-- really? what is he, a child? he wants good kisses here, puppy!
he catches the coin mid-air and slaps it down on the back of his hand, before making the reveal.
[if he loses again he's throwing the stupid coin away, it's bad luck.]
Heads. I'm sure it's gonna be heads this time! It has to!!!
[and so puppy flips the coin and-- oh look. it landed on heads. finally. puppy excitedly sits up and reaches for other puppy, pressing a solid kiss on the other's lips.]
[ Oh, that takes him aback, and Puppy blinks owlishly after the kiss, face turning a strange color as he flushes. His less than human nature means the tint isn't quiet a proper pink, even though he's got a human form, but it's not exactly the kind of green someone might expect from a tree boy.
Either way, his cheeks are definitely changing some kind of color as he picks up the coin and flips it without comment, too surprised by the sudden kiss to make any.
And of course, the traitor coin lands face down, that tails clearly on display for both of them as it lands on the back of Puppy's hand. ]
[puppy doesn't quite seal-clap, but it's a near thing. he excitedly takes the coin and sets in on the floor between them, reaching out to puppy to place a firmer kiss on the other's mouth. he looks so pretty, the shifting hues on his cheeks highlighting the way his eyes are wide and beautiful. cat puppy cups tree puppy's cheeks as he kisses him, and when he pulls away, cat puppy's eyes are bright and joyful.
that his fingers linger may be a bit of a breach of game rules, but what can he say? he loves to kiss people. it's his favorite thing above all.]
[ Physical contact is something that Puppy has never minded much. With friends it's easy to lean against one another, and he likes hugs. He's not even bothered by things like kisses on the cheek or head, and though he hasn't ever actually kissed anyone on the lips (before now), he was pretty okay with the idea.
So cat Puppy letting his fingers linger on him doesn't bother tree Puppy too much. In fact, it's hard for him to notice at all when he's getting so flustered over two kisses in a row.
He brings a hand up to his own face, covering up one flushed cheek. ]
It was okay.
[ His voice cracked so much trying to get that simple sentence out. ]

Puppy isn't exactly being a great example of an adult here either as smug as he looks over winning twice in a row.
He places one hand against one of his friend's cheeks so he can lean in and kiss the other. Yet another safe kiss (for now). ]
Tails.
